Cultural Diversity
The Phi Alpha Chapter has always had a very rich cultural diversity among our brothers. This diversity gives us the opportunity to better understand and learn about various cultures and communities around the world. These are just few of the cultures brothers have identified as.
Midwest Region
Sigma Lambda Beta is cut into regions, and we are a part of the Mighty Midwest Chapter.

9 out of the 10 chapters are within a 4-hour drive from UNL, allowing us to build strong connections with other chapters and be able to travel to each other's campuses for events.
Beta Mayhem
Beta Mayhem is a sports competition that was started by some brothers from Phi Alpha in 2023. This event is held every spring and is open to all Midwest chapters and brothers. Sports may vary from Sand Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and even Flag Football. The winning team gets the Beta Mayhem trophy and gets to host the following year!
Although this event is a sports competition it was created to also bring all Midwest brothers together for a day full of brotherhood! Where undergrads can meet other undergrads and where alumni can meet undergrads or reconnect with other alumni..
