One Brotherhood. One Story.
The story of Phi Alpha begins with Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc., founded in 1986. Built upon Brotherhood, Scholarship, Cultural Awareness, and Community Service, the fraternity has grown into the nation's largest Latino-based fraternity.
In 1998, that mission found a home at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln through the establishment of the Phi Alpha Chapter.
